Outer-planet stations during Sag season

Saturn stations direct on December 10, 2026 while the Sun is in Sagittarius. When Saturn ends retrograde, practical reality and responsibility tend to reassert themselves, so plans begun in the earlier part of the year may need restructuring now.

Neptune stations direct on December 12, 2026 during the same Sag window. Neptune going direct often clarifies long-standing confusion or creative blocks, making vague ideals more accessible to real-world adjustments.

Jupiter turning retrograde in mid-December

Jupiter stations retrograde around December 13, 2026 while the Sun remains in Sagittarius. Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Sagittarius, so its change of direction during Sag season tends to shift expansion inward, study, spiritual review, or revising beliefs are more likely than outward risk-taking.

Classically, a Jupiter retrograde period asks for reevaluation rather than fresh launches, so use this time for research, course corrections, or deeper reading rather than expecting big external growth to happen automatically.

Full Moon and New Moon fall inside the season

Kartik Purnima, a Full Moon, falls on November 24, 2026 and lands inside early Sagittarius season. Full Moons highlight culmination and public awareness; with a Full Moon so soon after the Sun’s ingress, issues started around the solstice window may surface quickly.

A New Moon exact on December 9, 2026 occurs with the Sun and Moon conjunct at about 16°57′ Sagittarius. New Moons are good for setting intentions; this one is useful for studying, planning travel, or launching a learning project, though the later Jupiter station suggests you may revise those plans.

Festivals and timing inside the Sag window

Kartik Purnima is listed on November 24, 2026 in Indian panchang sources and falls within Sagittarius season. This festival’s presence emphasizes ritual, remembrance, and public observance early in the season.

Amavasya / New Moon relevant to Indian calendars is on December 9, 2026, which matches the New Moon noted above and can mark a quieter, inward-facing ritual moment during Sag season.

How these events change the usual Sag qualities

Sagittarius season classically encourages expansion, optimism, travel, and study. This year, Saturn and Neptune station direct and Jupiter turns retrograde while the Sun is in Sag, so expansion tends to be tested by reality checks and interior review rather than straightforward growth.

Practically, expect a mix of curiosity and careful revision: plan studies or trips but allow time to refine details, and treat beliefs and long-term goals as drafts that benefit from a second look.

Aries: Sun in your 9th house sparks curiosity

With Sagittarius season 2026 falling in your 9th house, you’re focused on higher learning, long-distance travel, publishing, and big-picture beliefs. The 9th house covers study abroad, legal matters, philosophy, religion, and experiences that expand your worldview, so expect your attention to move outward from day-to-day concerns.

This is a good time to start a course, apply for travel or visa paperwork, or pitch a long-form project. Watch for impatience, Sag’s optimism can gloss over details, so pair enthusiasm with careful planning and deadlines.

For you, Sagittarius season 2026 lands in the 8th house, which rules shared finances, taxes, inheritances, intimacy, and psychological transformation. The 8th house asks you to examine what you share and what you keep private, so financial conversations and deep emotional work may come forward.

Use this period to get clear on joint budgets, debt strategies, or estate paperwork. Tread carefully with impulsive financial risks; Sag’s confidence can be useful for negotiating, but balance it with sober number‑checking and clear agreements.

With Sagittarius season 2026 falling in your 6th house, the spotlight tends to fall on daily work, service, health routines and small but steady habits. The 6th house covers your day‑to‑day job tasks, coworkers, wellness practices and the systems that keep you functioning.

Expect a practical push to tidy routines, set clearer boundaries at work and address lingering health niggles. You can use this time to make realistic, sustainable changes, shorter habits that add up, rather than dramatic overhauls.

Be mindful of overworking or minor stress showing up as physical symptoms. Balance caution with action: prioritize sleep, schedule preventive checkups and break bigger to‑do lists into manageable steps so you make steady progress without burning out.

Aquarius: wider networks and long-range goals (11th house)

Sagittarius season 2026 lights up your 11th house, which governs friends, groups, hopes, and collective projects. Expect more invitations, new contacts, and conversations about future plans or causes you care about.

Use the energy to expand networks and pitch ideas to groups rather than relying on one-on-one meetings. Balance enthusiasm with discernment: say yes to a few strategic collaborations and let less aligned options fall away.
